At Altmetric, we are committed to equitable accessibility of our products and services, to the extent possible. In pursuit of that goal, we have undertaken the following:
We use sans-serif fonts (Montserrat and Open Sans) for the Altmetric Explorer and Badges that are easily legible across all languages and character sets.
We have provided our assessment below of the Altmetric Explorer against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, Section 508, and EN 301 549 standards, in line with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
We are committed to a process of ongoing improvement in line with accessibility guidelines; this will include (but is not limited to) updates to our ARIA labelling and the overall screen-reader user experience.
Whilst we strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
