Altmetric Explorer for Publishers has a powerful search interface, with both basic and advanced search options.
When you login, you'll see the central search box at the top of the page. Here you can enter either a simple search term (such as a keyword, publisher name, journal name, publication title, research output type, etc.) and dive into your altmetrics data right away.
Alternatively, choose Advanced Search to expand the menu and reveal additional search options, which provide ways to refine the search and drill down into the most relevant results.
||How to do it
|Research outputs from entire Altmetric database
||Search for any research output Altmetric has ever tracked across the full database.
|Outputs by type (e.g., article, book, chapter, dataset, new story, or clinical trial study record)
Search or filter your results by research output type, e.g., to view attention data for the datasets with the most mentions.
Note, not all accounts will have access to the Books index.
| Outputs that were mentioned in a fixed timeframe
||Search for research outputs that were mentioned either anytime or within the past day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months. Available from the Advanced Search menu only.
|Outputs that were published in a fixed timeframe||Search for research outputs that were published in a specific time period.|
||Search for a keyword to return relevant results and their Altmetric data. The results will include any outputs from the Altmetric database that have a publication title, author name, editor name, and/or journal title that matches the keyword.
| Publication title

||Enter a list of up to 25,000 scholarly identifiers, including DOIs, ISBNs, PubMed IDs, arXiv IDs, URNs, and URLs. (We have expanded the limit from 10,000 in EFI v1 to 25,000 identifiers in EFI v2.)
Available from the Advanced Search menu only. However, you can
enter a single scholarly identifier into the main search box to perform a quicker, targeted search for 1 research output.
|DOI Prefix||Search for a DOI prefix so you can see all the outputs from a particular publisher or journal.|
|Handle Prefix||Search for a Handle prefix so you can see all the outputs from a particular journal or institutional repository.
|Pubmed Query||Search using the Pubmed MESH terms to pull results in from Pubmed directly.|
