View search results and Altmetric Details Pages

When you login to Explorer for Publishers, the default view is to browse all research outputs Altmetric has ever tracked. Search results are listed alongside their individual donuts and are expandable to full Altmetric details pages (listing the full attention data for each research output).

You can also share search queries with other Explorer users by copying the webpage URL.

Sorting your results

Explorer for Publishers offers lots of ways sort your results list, including by:

  • Altmetric Attention Score: In order to show the most popular outputs, you can sort all search results by Altmetric Attention Score. Just select the drop-down option in the top-right of your search results pane.

  • Sources: Identify the outputs that have received the most attention in particular sources (e.g., news, Twitter, or policy), just sort all search results by a specific attention source.

  • Number of mentions: Sort your results by number of mentions in a timeframe to identify trending outputs. You can also sort by total mentions to find popular outputs of all time.

Sorting your results by target attention sources or number of mentions a timeframe can help identify outputs performing particularly well in a specific area or help highlight trending topics.

Saving your searches

You can save any search in EFP to the Saved Searches panel. Run your search and choose Save Search in the top-right of the page. It will then appear in the Saved Searches panel in the left sidebar. Saved Searches replaces My Workspaces in EFP v1. You can also rename saved searches and set up email alerts.
