You can now easily find specific researchers and analyze the aggregated attention metrics for all their associated research outputs.
This highly requested feature provides a more comprehensive understanding of a researcher's impact over time, complementing our existing output-centric view. Key benefits include:
New Search Capabilities: Search for researchers by name directly in Altmetric Explorer.
Research Disambiguation: We use Dimensions data to ensure you're selecting the correct researcher.
Aggregated Metrics: Get a holistic view of a researcher's influence, including total mention counts and breakdowns by attention source.
Top Researchers Section: Easily identify researchers with the most attention on the highlights tab.
Seamless Navigation: Follow links from authors on a paper's Details Page to view all their outputs and associated attention.
Enhanced Insights: Especially valuable for Enterprise and Academic users to track Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and identify collaborators.
