Altmetric have noted with interest the changes at X (previously Twitter) and are continuing to observe ongoing developments with the platform closely. 

We will continue to track attention to mentions of academic research outputs shared on X at this time.  X remains one of the major platforms used by academics globally and our plan for now is to continue to track it as we always have. You may find our most recent blog, Since Twitter became X... , of interest which looks at the levels of engagement we are currently seeing with the platform.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation in terms of coverage and usage, and are currently working on a number of scenarios as to how we might adjust to any further developments that may occur in the future.
