I bought a used Early 2011 Macbook Pro 2011, for a very good price. I was intending to upgrade it considerably (SSD & RAM) and resell it. I am a mainly Windows PC user, however, I do like some of the niceties like the trackpad, the specs which are good (i7 2.0ghz), and also the build quality. I have read the 2011 Model Macbook Pro 15's suffer a graphics issue. I have not noticed anything of the sort using it. I already own a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon, so the Macbook would be something for me to try out OSX etc. My question is, are all the Macbook 2011 Pro 15 laptops defective and/or have an inherent graphics chip soldering flaw. Is the 2011 Macbook Pro 15 I have a ticking time bomb I should get rid of ASAP?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
