Reddit content tracking

Altmetric tracks Reddit attention via their API and the data is updated on a daily basis. We track all subreddits but we cannot track comments or posts on user pages. 

We automatically collect attention from subreddits if they contain a direct link to a scholarly output within the header.

The Reddit tab on an Altmetric Details Page

On an Altmetric Details Page, the Reddit tab lists mentions by time of publication in descending order, with the most recent ones available at the top of the page. You can see who posted the mention and the content of the post. 

Reddit mentions appear as light blue in the Altmetric donut.
